Chair and Bed Risers, sometimes called furniture risers, are plastic devices that are placed under chair and bed legs to increase their height. Raising the height of the chair or bed can ease standing by allowing residents to shift weight forward over their feet, providing a lifting advantage. Other uses for these devices include providing more clearance under the bed for lifting devices and creating a more comfortable working height for caregivers when working with residents in bed.
